Omaha Police Check For A Connection Between Two Robberies

Just after 8 p.m. Wednesday night, officers went to "Kohls Pharmacy" at 5002 Dodge St for a robbery.

Employees told them two men wearing masks and armed with handguns entered the place, jumped over the counter and demanded medications.

After receiving an undetermined amount of unknown medications, they took cash from a customer and ran out the back door.

Minutes later, a robbery was reported at "Midtown Gas and Grocery" at 1349 Park Ave.

The clerk told police two men entered the store, one of them approached the counter, displayed a handgun and demanded cash.

The other stood by the door;

After the bandit at the counter received an undetermined amount of cash, they both fled the area westbound.
