What Was Thought To Be A Fireworks Injury Is A Gunshot Wound

Omaha Police were called to an emergency room New Year's Morning to talk to a shooting victim.

Officers spoke with 24 year old Victor Inigo, who was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Inigo had initially arrived by rescue around one a.m. for what he thought was a fireworks injury, but the medical examination revealed it was a gunshot wound.

Police say the victim did not know how he was injured by gunfire.
