New Information Released In Omaha Shooting

After originally being reported in serious condition, Omaha Police now say a 27-year old woman suffered a minor injury Monday night in a shooting near 33rd and Corby Streets.

Investigators say the woman had been sitting in her vehicle when she heard gunfire and ended up with the injury either from a bullet or from debris.

Other vehicles parked in the area were damaged by gunfire.

The "Shotspotter" technology initially alerted officers to the shooting scene.
