An Omaha man was killed in a Thursday morning Sarpy County crash.
The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office says just after 11:15 Thursday morning, deputies and Gretna Fire & Rescue crews were called to the area of Highway 370 & Wickersham Blvd. a two-vehicle crash. The Sheriff's Office says their investigation revealed that a Chevy Equinox, driven by 18 year old Garrett Bragg of Murdock, was westbound on Hwy 370, turning left to go south on Wickersham, when it collided with an eastbound Red-D Mix concrete truck. Investigators say after hitting the Equinox, the cement truck overturned in a ditch.
The driver of the concrete truck, 58 year old Gregory Brennan, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Equinox, Gerrett Bragg, and his passenger, 68 year old Rebecca Bragg, were both taken to Bergan Mercy with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
