One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning. Omaha Police say it happened around 4:20 a.m. near 42nd and Crown Point Avenue.
Investigators say someone was driving in the area and saw a man laying in the roadway. The witness pulled over and was calling 911 when police say a northbound Chevy Malibu drove over the man.
31 year old Edward Johnson was transported to Nebraska Medicine where he died. Police say the driver of the Chevy stopped at the scene.
Tyrone Clayton Jr. was cited for driving during suspension and no proof of insurance.
