NP Dodge Park set to reopen following damaging floods

A popular North Omaha park will be fully reopening on Friday after being closed for more than a year.

The Omaha Parks Department says at 3:00 Friday afternoon, NP Dodge Park will reopen after being closed for more than a year following a series of damaging floods. The public boat ramp and the private marina will both reopen.

In a media release, the department says some park features could not be repaired or replaced and have been removed or permanently closed. "This includes campgrounds, athletic fields, park shelters, and playground."
