Omaha Police looking for two women accused of robbing pizza delivery man

Omaha Police are looking for two women who they say assaulted and robbed a pizza delivery man Tuesday night.

Police say just after 9:30, Officers were called to an apartment building near 25th and Jones for a reported robbery. When officers arrived, a Pizza Hut delivery driver told them that when he arrived to deliver pizza to the address, he was approached outside by two women. The driver told police that the first woman tried to get the employee to give her pizza for free, this after he refused to accept a suspicious $100 bill.

When the driver told the woman that he wouldn't give her the pizza for free, she assaulted the employee. The first woman, along with another female suspect then stole the pizza, sodas and cash belonging to Pizza Hut from the employee. Both suspects then ran behind the address and were unable to be located.

The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone with information to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at (402) 444-STOP, at www.omahacrimestoppers.org or on the P3 Tips mobile app.
