Bellevue Police say the driver of a stolen SUV died after slamming into a house early Wednesday morning.
Investigators told 6 News the vehicle was northbound on 48th Street around 1:00 a.m. when the driver lost control and plowed into a home near Bernadette Street. No one inside the home was hurt.
Bellevue Police believe there were passengers in the vehicle, but they took off before they arrived. Officers searched the neighborhood for any signs of the passengers.
Police tell 6 News they were not in pursuit of the vehicle before it wrecked.
