UNL Confirms First COVID-19 Case

The University of Nebraska Lincoln says an employee recently tested positive for COVID-19. University officials say the employee worked at Selleck Dining Hall and last had contact with students on March 30th.

It's the first confirmed case of COVID-19 on the UNL campus. The person is self-isolating and was identified as one of the six new confirmed cases in Lincoln on Thursday.

All UNL classes are online until the end of the semester, but students are still allowed to live in university resident halls and Greek houses as long as they practice social distancing.

All outdoor recreation spaces on campus are closed.
