No one was hurt after a plane made an emergency landing at Eppley Airfield around 2 Monday afternoon.
The United Airlines flight had just left Omaha heading to Newark at 12:55 p.m. when the pilot contacted the tower about a potential problem with the landing gear. The plane headed back to Eppley and circled to burn fuel before making a safe landing.
It is not known how many passengers were on board.
