Offutt Air Force Base officials say that an active duty member and their spouse are dead following an incident Saturday night at a home in Rising View, Offutt’s off-base housing area near 34th and Castle.
Law enforcement officials from Offutt and Sarpy County responded to a call at the home around 8:15 p.m. and found the couple dead. Their names are being held pending notification of family
The Air Force Office of Special Investigations detachment at Offutt is leading the investigation. in a statement posted on Facebook a 55th Wing Commander said “The situation was under control and there are no safety concerns to residents within Rising View."
The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation.
