A new $150 million project is in the works at the University of Nebraska. Officials plan to announce a new stand-alone football operations building tomorrow.
6 News reports that N-U Athletic Director Bill Moos spoke at a luncheon in Lincoln last month about staying ahead of the competition. He then said plans for the new football operations building were in the works but nothing had been finalized.
A news conference is set for Friday, the day before the Huskers - Ohio State game. ESPN will be broadcasting College GameDay from Memorial Stadium on Saturday and this gives the University an opportunity to make the announcement about their future plans for the program.
