Update - Two 16 Year Old's Injured When Vehicle Hits House

OMAHA, Nebraska - Update; Omaha Police released more information about an accident involving a car that hit a house Monday just before 5 p.m. near 27th and Mason.

Police say that a 2010 Toyota Corolla was heeding north on 27th Street at a high rate of speed when it left the street, crossed the yard and hit the front porch of a house at 1015 S. 27th Street.

Two 16 year old boys inside were not wearing seat belts. Both were taken to a hospital with possible serious injuries.

Police cited the driver, Elmer Tornez for willful reckless driving, colliding with a fixed object and no driver's license.

There is another incident of a vehicle hitting a house in the Omaha metro - this time near South 27th and Mason Street Monday afternoon.

Witnesses told 6 News that two neighborhood boys hit a curb. That sent the vehicle into a home. The driver's legs were pinned inside the wreckage.

First responders arrived at the scene about 15 minutes after the crash.
