Woman Critically Injured In Highway 75/Sorensen Parkway Crash

Four people were hurt in an accident around 3:45 Wednesday afternoon at Highway 75's off ramp to Sorensen Parkway.

Investigators say that a 2005 Honda Accord was heading south on 30th Street and making a turn east towards the Storz Expressway's on-ramp. That vehicle was hit on the passenger side by a northbound 2008 Ford Edge.

There were three people in the Honda driven by 82 year old Melvin Yates. He and a back seat passenger suffered minor injuries. Front seat passenger, 74 year old Judy Yates suffered critical injuries to her chest and legs.

The driver of the Ford was 29 year old Alison Elker who suffered aches and pains.

Accident investigators were not able to locate any witnesses to the crash.
