Bucky's Employees Assaulted With Guns During Robberies

Omaha Police say two Bucky's convenience store employees were beaten with guns during a pair of robberies Thursday morning.

The first robbery happened at 40th and Dodge around 12:40 a.m. The employee told officers a man wearing a white shirt and white pants entered the store, jumped on the counter, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. Police say the suspect grabbed the cash and then hit the employee in the head with the gun before running northbound.

Just before 7:00 police say a man wearing a dark gray or black shirt, gray pants and white shoes came into the store at 60th and Center, jumped on the counter and demanded money. Police say he then struck the employee in the face with the gun and the employee refused to give him the money.

The gunman then walked out. The investigation into both robberies is continuing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at (402) 444-STOP.
