Connelly Convicted Of 1st Degree Murder In Death Of Jeanna Wilcoxen

Jeremiah Connelly was convicted Tuesday in the murder of Jeanna Wilcoxen in September of 2018.

Investigators determined that Wilcoxen had canceled a meeting with Connelly. That upset him so he tracked her down and abducted her in a van. He then sexually assaulted her and choked her to death.

Connelly was arrested after police tried to conduct a traffic stop and he took off. The vehicle he was driving was stolen. Investigators mentioned Wilcoxen's death and that led to the discovery of her body on a road near Fremont.

Connelly was also found guilty of tampering with evidence.
