The Nebraska football team will open the Big Ten schedule on Sept. 21 with a night game against Illinois.
The Nebraska Athletic Department announced Monday the Huskers will take on Illinois on the road at 7 p.m. to begin conference play.
The game will be televised on Big Ten Network. The Huskers are currently 1-1 on the year and will play Northern Illinois this Saturday at 7 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
