A contractor working to repair a leaking pipe inside the Nebraska Animal Medical Center near 56th and Old Cheney Road in Lincoln on Monday is in critical condition after a portion of the roof collapsed on him
Police say fire and rescue personnel were called around 9:30 a.m. and found the 40 year old worker pinned between the dog kennels and ceiling. They used airbags to create some space to remove the worker.
The man is in critical but stable condition. All of the animals are safe.
