Lincoln Police say a woman is dead following an early morning crash in the 5500 block of Superior.
Witnesses reported a Honda was traveling at a high rate of speed on Superior Street when the driver lost control around 4:00 a.m. and collided with a pole on the south side.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Honda had been reported stolen from a driveway near 27th and Old Cheney on April 15th. Officers are still working to identify the deceased female driver.
