An explosion is under investigation in Council Bluffs.Emergency crews were called to 6th Avenue and S. 8th Street just before 10 a.m. Friday. Police immediately determined there was no danger to the public and this was an isolated incident.
One man's hand was injured in the explosion and he was taken to a hospital.
Police say that a work crew was on site pouring a driveway at the home when it happened. However, the victim was not a member of the crew or the homeowner.
Smoke could be seen coming from a garage immediately after the explosion.Officials with the Fire Marshal’s Office in Council Bluffs are investigating.
