Lincoln Man Arrested For Threatening To Kill Restaurant Staff

A Lincoln man has been arrested after causing quite a scene at a restaurant. Lincoln Police say around 9:00 Wednesday night officers were called to Big Sal’s Pizza on N 27th Street.

An employee told police an intoxicated man came to the restaurant, caused a disturbance and refused to leave. 48 year old Allen Chilen reportedly threatened to assault and “kill” the entire restaurant staff before officers escorted him out of the building.

Police said Chilen refused to sit in the backseat of the cruiser and started to struggle with officers. He then reportedly spat in an officer’s face.

Police say Chilen then head-butted the officer and a second officer sustained a hand injury during a struggle before Chilen was placed in the vehicle.

While being booked into jail, police said Chilen bit an officer on the wrist. Chilen also hit his head on the counter to knock the jail paperwork off the counter.

Chilen was cited for trespassing, disturbing the peace, failure to comply, assault with a bodily fluid, and obstructing a peace officer. Chilen was booked into jail for resisting arrest and 3rd-degree assault on an officer.
