Arrest Made In House Fire That Injured Three People

Omaha Police say they have one person in custody for an early Monday morning house fire that injured three people. Fire officials say two of the three people injured in the fire near 37th and Himebaugh have been transferred to the St. Elizabeth's Burn Unit in Lincoln for treatment.

The third person is hospitalized at UNMC. Fitzpatrick confirms police were called to the house several hours earlier for a domestic disturbance. They returned with firefighters around 12:45 and found the home engulfed in flames.

The injured residents, a 65 year old man and a 19 and 56 year old woman, were able to make it out of the burning house. The roof collapsed as firefighters fought the fire from the outside. The home is a complete loss.

There are no details on the person taken into custody.
