Former Nebraska Democratic Party Chairperson and Nebraska Public Service Commissioner Ann Boyle died Saturday night, days after suffering a stroke.
Boyle was surrounded by family and died peacefully at home. She was the first woman ever elected to the Nebraska Public Service Commission and was a Nebraska delegate to the National Democratic Convention four times.
She was the wife of former Omaha mayor and current Douglas County Commissioner Mike Boyle.
