Three People Arrested After Bellevue Disturbance

A Wednesday morning disturbance at a Bellevue apartment complex ended with the arrest of three people. 

Bellevue Police were called to the Birchcrest Apartments just before 7:30 for a disturbance where a man had reportedly assaulted a female and displayed a gun. The victim, a seventeen year old girl, said she had been propositioned to be prostituted by the alleged assailant.

During the course of the investigation, detectives obtained search warrants for two apartments. Six handguns were eventually recovered, three of which were reported stolen.

Three people were arrested on the following charges after the incident:

  • 26 year old Kenny Ray Johnson Jr. 
    • Third Degree Assault Domestic Violence; Human Trafficking and Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person.
  • 20 year old Warren Anderson
    • Possession of a stolen Firearm (3 counts); Possession of Marijuana Less than 1 oz. and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • 22 year old Maria E. Curry
    • Possession of a stolen Firearm (3 counts); Possession of Marijuana Less than 1 oz. and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Police say the investigation continues.
