One Person Died; Five Others Were Hurt In Mills County Collision

An Omaha woman was killed in a two vehicle crash in Southwest Iowa early last evening.  It happened near Mineola in Mills County.

The Iowa State Patrol says around six p.m., a Honda Accord driven by 51-year old Heather Johnson of Omaha ran through a stop sign at 221st and Barrus Rd., and was broadsided by a Chevy Silverado.

Both vehicles rolled over and landed in a field. 33-year old Iris Gandara of Omaha was killed; Heather Johnson was hospitalized in critical condition.  Four others were also hurt.
