New Sod Covers Swastika At Memorial Park

Memorial Park is back to normal after someone burned a large swastika into the grass last week.

Omaha Parks and Recreation crews tilled up that area to remove the symbol shortly after it was discovered at the west end of the park.  Thanks to a donation by the Home Company and Terry McGovern Construction, new sod covers that damaged area.

Parks Director Brook Bench sent out a picture of the new sod on Twitter today.

The search for the those responsible continues.
