Man Sought For Shooting At Cousin's Car

A Lincoln man is on the run after police say he fired shots at three different locations Sunday night.  A 20-year-old woman reported she was giving her cousin, 34-year-old Brian Gouge, a ride when she stopped to use a restroom.

She told police Gouge drove away with her 2014 black Dodge Avenger. At 10:20 pm, there were several reports of shots fired in the area of 23rd and Dudley Streets. Witnesses reported Gouge arrived at this location and had an argument with his family over money. Shell casings were found nearby.

At 11:55 pm, witnesses reported hearing several gunshots in the area of 52nd and Randolph Streets. Several shell casings were found.

Shortly after midnight, Gouge’s cousin reported she borrowed a vehicle and was checking addresses he was known to frequent so she could find her car.  She went to 640 S 12th Street and saw Gouge in the alley.

She yelled out the car window at Gouge and he reportedly fired 4-5 gunshots, striking the rear passenger window and quarter panel of her vehicle.   No one was injured. Gouge is currently on parole for various charges and officers are looking to speak to him about the reported incidents on Sunday night.
