Monday Kicks Off Early Voting For May Primary

Monday officially kicks off the election season in Nebraska with the start of early voting. You can now vote in person at election commission offices for the May 15th primary.

If you prefer, registered voters can request that an early voting ballot be mailed directly to them prior to the election. They can also have someone pick up a ballot for them prior to the election.

Many voters have already requested those early ballots with tens of thousands being sent out last week for the statewide primaries.

Also keep in mind that April 30th is the last day residents can register to vote for the May primary. Registrations can be done a number of ways including:

  • Mail-in voter registration
  • Register at DMV office
  • In-person at the election commission office
  • Online voter registration
