Suspect In Sexual Assaults Facing Additional Charges

A man accused of sexually assaulting women at recycling centers in the metro is now facing more charges.

Police reports show that 24 year old Eduardo Fierro was arrested after his babysitter told police that she found a 'peep hole' in the bathroom at his house. The woman reported that Fierro took pictures of her while she used the bathroom, which he admitted to.

Fierro is now facing a felony charge of Intrusion which is in addition to three counts of misdemeanor Sexual Assault. He is accused of inappropriately touching women at recycling centers across the Omaha metro.

The misdemeanor charges are currently being processed through the city prosecutor's office, but Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine tells 6 News that he will pursue felony charges if possible. "It's possible there were elements of the crime that was a felony we could prove like it was attempted penetration. If there's any ability for us to file felony charges that meets the elements in those allegations, we'll go ahead and do so."

Police are still investigating the incidents and conducting line-ups, making Fierro's mug shot unavailable.
