Iowa Teen Threatens School Shooting

A fourteen year old Sidney, Iowa high school student is in hot water after allegedly threatening to carry out a school shooting. 

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office arrested the teen on Wednesday after deputies were called to Sidney High School by school officials after the reported threat. Investigators found the student upon arrival, arrested them and charged the teen with Threats of Terrorism.

Authorities say the student is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center in Council Bluffs.

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation along with the Fremont County Attorney's Office, Juvenile Court Officials and Sidney Schools.
