Lincoln Police say a 58 year old man suffered serious injuries to his face after a pitbull attacked him on Friday.
The man went to pick up a rent payment near 27th and Holdredge around 5:00 when the tenants dog bit him in the face and leg.
The dog got out through a screen door that wasn’t latched and jumped up and bit the man in the face. He was transported to the hospital with significant injuries to his face. The injuries are not life-threatening.
