Woman Pushed From Moving Vehicle

A 29 year old Omaha woman is recovering after she told police she was thrown from a moving vehicle around 2:15 Sunday morning near 79th and Pacific.

Police say Cindy Samayoa was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Samayoa told officers that she had been a passenger in the vehicle. She said the driver hit her with a hammer and pushed out into the street and took off.

Police have not released any information about the vehicle or the driver.  Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP
