Omaha police are investigating two overnight stabbins. Officers were called to 43rd and Fowler at 12:13 a.m. for a disturbance. 29 year old Eliseo Caal told police that his roommate came up from behind him and cut his face with a knife. Eliseowas transported to a hospital and will recover. The suspect, 32 year old Sinard Gomex was still on the scene and officers took him into custody for felony asswault and use of a weapon.
At 4:39 a.m. officers were called to 24th and Harney for a stabbing. 28 year old Steven Fowler told police he got into an argument with an unknown man who was passing by. He reported the man stabbed him with a knife and took off running. Fowler was taken to a hospital for treatment.
