The Douglas County Sheriff's Department has launched an investigation into the death of an inmate at the Douglas County Jail over the weekend.
Authorities say 40 year old Matthew Tracy was arrested Friday on a suspected DUI, Possession of Marijuana and a number of other charges.
Officials say Tracy was found unresponsive in a cell Sunday night. They say staff started CPR and medical staff immediately responded to assist in the life saving measures.
When the Omaha Fire Department arrived it was determined that Tracy was deceased.
The state law required investigation for the in-custody death is underway.
