A bank robbery suspect ran, but didn't get very far Monday afternoon. Ralston police were called to the Wells Fargo Bank near 84th and L around 1:30.

Police Chief Ron Murtaugh tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB a woman walked into the bank and handed the teller a note indicating she had a bomb.  Murtaugh says after getting some cash, the woman left the bank southbound toward Ralston Middle School.

With the help of citizens, Murtaugh says an officer already in the area was able to track down the woman at the school.

The woman's name has not been released yet.  Murtaugh says they are checking to see if she may be responsible for other robberies in Ralston.
