Omaha police have identified the two men who were wounded in a drive by shooting Wednesday morning near 42nd and Grand.
Police Lt. Michael McGee tells Newsradio 1110 KFAB the victims, 20 year old Terrance Gunn and 20 year old Mark Swift were standing outside a house around 9:30 Wednesday morning when someone in a reddish colored vehicle drove by and shot them.
One of the victims was found at the scene with a wound to his arm. Police followed a trail of blood about a block away where they found the second victim. He was suffering from a wound to the abdomen. Police say Gunn and Swift have not provided any information on the shooting.
One woman tells Newsradio 1110 KFAB that she heard about 10 shots. Nearby Central Park Elementary was briefly locked down out of precaution.
