A 50 year old man walked into an Omaha hospital emergency room Friday morning and told nurses his friend had died inside his car.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Department says when the nurses checked the vehicle they didn't see anyone inside. They did observe two large knives on the hood of the car.
When they asked about the friend, 50-year-old Richard Thieben got in his car and drove away. Using Thieben's cell phone information, he was found in Monona County, Iowa.
No body or signs of foul play were discovered in the vehicle. Thieben was not arrested.
