Omaha Police have arrested three people in connection with the shooting of a 16-year-old girl earlier this week.
Lashana Westbrook was sitting in a vehicle with several other people at a convenience store near 72nd and Military early Wednesday morning when shots were fired.
Westbrook remains hospitalized with serious injuries. Police identified the suspects as 20-year-old Brianna Tilmon, 19-year-old Talequa Marion and 17-year-old Khaila Dailey. Dailey is being charged as an adult.
A fourth suspect, 20-year-old Montel Wood, remains at large. Police say Wood's actions directly caused Lashana's injuries, but they did not elaborate.
Wood is a convicted felony and is charged with attempted first degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony and a felon in possesion of a firearm.
