Suspensions Lifted For Three Kiewit Students

Suspensions Lifted For Three Kiewit Students

Earlier this month the three Kiewit Middle School students were expelled for a year after shooting air soft rifles at each other in the parking lot of Grace Abbott Elementary School.

Someone inside the school called police and the boys were eventually suspended for one calendar year for violating the student code of conduct, which prohibits airsoft guns from any school property 24 hours a day.

The boy's families pleaded their case saying they were not trying to hurt anyone.  Dave Eastlack is the father of one of the boys and says they received a certified letter today confirming the expulsions have been lifted by the Millard School Board.

Eastlack says the boys will return to class on November 7th.
