The former Rick's Cafe Boatyard on Omaha's Riverfront is moving forward, with an old-school touch.

The 19-thousand square foot restaurant and bar will be renovated and called the Storz Trophy Room Grill and Brewery. It is set to open November 15th. The Storz Brewery closed in Omaha more than 40 years ago.

Storz will also offer its array of craft beers as part of the menu. Yves Menard, owner of the Charlie's on the Lake restaurant, will operate the new restaurant.

“We are a great beer company, but more importantly, we are beer on a mission,” says Tom Markel, who is part of the management team.  He says Storz products will launch August 18 at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Polish Festival. Other events to feature Storz products this month include the Great Nebraska Beer Fest in Papillion, the Cox Classic in Omaha and the Nebraska State Fair.
