For the past several months truckloads of dirt have been removing dirt from the site of the new 75-hundred seat arena that will be hime to UNO basketball, volleyball and hockey.

On Thursday steel support beams were put in place.  When it is completed in the fall of 2015, the arena will be home to the UNO basketball, hockey and volleyball teams.

The 200,000 square foot arena will have two sheets of ice, one for UNO athletes and the other for the public.
