As the weather begins to turn colder, demand for blankets and pillows is up at the Siena-Francis House homeless shelter.

"They're all twin sizes that we need," says executive director Mike Saklar, "We'll take just about any type of pillow, and obviously the pillowcases would be great."

Saklar says the shelter has been averaging more than 500 men, women and children staying there. If you have used or new twin-sized blankets and pillows, you can drop them off at the shelter's loading dock, at 17th and Nicholas Streets.
