Bellevue Police were called to the apartment just south of 47th and Giles around 11:20 Thursday morning.  According to Bellevue police 20 year old Tyrell Dalia was sending threatening texts and pictures of him with a gun to the woman he was living with.

When officers arrived, Dalia barricaded himself inside the apartment for about an hour and then surrendered.  Investigators say after Dalia was placed in the cruiser, he maneuvered the handcuffs to the front of his body, kicked out a window and ran.

Police caught him after a short foot pursuit.  Police say Dalia and an officer suffered minor injuries.  Dalia has been charged with terroristic Threats, criminal mischief, escape, third degree assault, assault on an officer and resisting arrest.
