Officials say a repair and repaving project will force closure of a portion of U-S Highway 75 in southeast Nebraska. The Nebraska Roads Department says a 12 mile stretch between Union and NebraskaCity will be closed beginning march 31st. The Highway is expected to remain closed until mid-September. Access for local residents will be maintained on county roads.
A marked detour will use U-S Highway 34 and Nebraska Highways 2 and 50.
The project will include bridge repairs, grading, drain work and repaving.
