Omaha Police took a driver into custody early Thursday morning after a crash in south Omaha.

Around 2 a.m., the driver of a white Dodge Durango lost control near 24th and Oak and hit a pole. He over corrected on the road and then slammed into a parked car. Several power lines were knocked down to the ground and OPPD crews were called to the scene.

WOWT 6 News reports the driver was not hurt, but police believe alcohol may be a factor in the crash.
