Omaha Police were called to an apartment on 102nd Street, just east of I-680 after someone reported a man refused to leave around 8:30 Friday morning.
When officers arrived, they learned the 32 year old man had a felony warrant for domestic violence. Lt. Marcia Janucik says the man had just fled from the apartment as officers made entry.
Janucik says the man kept officers on the run for two hours, walking through several backyards. At one point, the suspect changed from a white t-shirt into a green multi-colored sweatshirt.
Officers saw him cross the street near 90th and Blondo and was eventually captured in the backyard of a home near 91st and Charles.
Janucik says the man was booked for a felony and misdemeanor warrant and faces additional charges for Friday morning's incident.
