Dodge Street
resurfacing project will be complete this weekend.  The barricades will be removed Sunday.  All lanes of
Dodge Street
from 52nd to
Turner Boulevard
will be ready for Monday morning traffic.

The Omaha Mayor's Office says the resurfacing project started September 16th and was expected to take up to eight weeks to complete.  The contractor was able to speed up the job using more equipment and personnel and there were no significant weather delays.

This project was one of 10 funded with $56.4-million from the State of Nebraska that funding also went to construction on Douglas from 9th to 24th, Maple from 90th to 102nd, Cuming from 30th to 46th, 30th from Fort to Whitmore and several others.

Several of those projects are still in the works and engineers expect the remaining construction to be completed by mid-November, weather permitting.
