More than 4,000 people raced through the streets of Omaha as part of the Omaha Marathon and related races.

About one-quarter of the people registered in Sunday's event signed up for the 26.2-mile marathon. The others participated in shorter events.

Derek Fey won the men's marathon with a time of 02:35:53, and he declared the race would be his last.

Darcy Fuehrer, of Tulsa, Okla., won the women's race in 03:01:42.

Stacey Centarri says she thought it was fun just to finish the race with friends.

This year's race included a lap around the inside of TD Ameritrade Park baseball stadium just before the finish line.
